The implementation of the new building complex into the historical layout of the 'kurgarten' as well as its connection to the existing buildings alongside auerspergstrasse are accomplished by carefull arranging and structuring the newly built volumes. Defining parameters for the new configuration are the consideration of the existing development of the streetscape. Two project phases are scheduled for realization according to the two main existing structures - the 'kurhaus' on auerspergstrasse and the office building alongside schwarzstrasse. Not unlike the crown of tree, the swimming pool hovers above both units, sporting panoramic views to the park and to mirabell castle. The spacious roofscape accommodates the outdoor pool as well as sheltered areas for relaxation and sauna facilities.
